GROWING UP SPLENDID

Why Life Skills Matter Just as Much as ABCs and 123s

Teaching little ones isn’t only about ABCs and 123s. Everyday skills like helping with laundry, packing a bag, cleaning up, and remembering important information help children build confidence, independence, and responsibility. Here’s why those small life skills matter—and how they can turn ordinary moments into meaningful learning.

Splendid Littles is a joy, and I am happy to have you with me!

Little hands. Big skills. Everyday adventures. What could be better?

Splendid Littles creates thoughtful, hands-on learning products designed to help little ones
learn, grow, and become more confident, capable and independent in the world around them.

We strive to make early learning feel like play, and turn everyday routines into opportunities for independence.
Every product is created with one goal in mind: helping children build skills they can actually use.

We believe some of the best learning happens away from a screen—at the kitchen table,
in the playroom, adventuring outside, and proudly saying, “I can do it myself!”.
Our products are designed to be engaging for kids, practical for parents, and beautiful enough to become
favorites your family reaches for again and again.

Because childhood is full of little moments that teach really big things—and we’re here to
make those moments splendid.

It's nice to meet you!

I'm Virginia - wife, mother, and creative designer.

I was born and raised in Texas, and have stayed in this wonderful state my entire life. I grew up with a very creative, entrepreneurial mind; like most kids in the 90’s, my first business was a lemonade stand. Helping others is something I have always enjoyed, and now being a mom, I have discovered a new passion - helping provide kids with screen-free development opportunities and fun activities. Splendid Littles is my place to share what I've learned, and what I create with moms, teachers, and anyone interested in helping kids grow into confident, capable, independent little humans.
